One minor downside is that the guest house is located a short distance from the main road, which may not be ideal for those who prefer to be close to the center. However, there are other hotels and guest houses in the area, so it's not deserted.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with both a fan and air conditioning. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the hot shower and shampoo in the bathroom and the free bicycle rental. The location was perfect, situated between Mihintale and the city, making it a convenient starting point for our sightseeing. We also loved the beautiful views of the paddyfields where we could spot wild peacocks.

Stayed at a guesthouse during Easter holidays. Loved the home-cooked curry and the great breakfast. the location was perfect for visiting historic sites and enjoying the countryside. the room was very clean and comfortable. the friendly staff made our stay even more special.

The guesthouse was a bit isolated and difficult to find. there was no option for card payment, so make sure you have enough cash on hand.
