The dining experience at Arches Fort was a culinary adventure, with homemade yogurt stealing the show. the hotel's charming colonial ambiance and attentive service added to the delight. With a prime location in Galle Fort, it's a steal for the value, conscious traveler.

Amidst the charm, a hiccup in payment process and some staff attitudes peeked through. Despite a glitch with cash payment demands conflicting with card guarantee, the hotel shone through.

I had the most incredible stay at this hotel. The room was impeccably clean and the bed was so comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the old fort area. It was so convenient to explore the restaurants, shops, and historical sites nearby. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel so welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast provided was delicious and they were so accommodating to my requests. I cannot fault this hotel in any way.

The warm and friendly staff made our Easter stay truly special. They were attentive without being intrusive, and made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The clean and comfortable room with top-quality linens made for a restful night's sleep. The hot breakfast provided was generous and delicious, setting us up for a day of exploring. The excellent WiFi and convenient fan and AC were also much appreciated.

While the bathroom was modern and clean, it was on the smaller side, and the shower setup left something to be desired. With no option to hold the shower by hand and no curtain or tray, the floor inevitably got wet and slippery, posing a safety hazard.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, allowing us to easily explore the nearby attractions and enjoy the local sights and sounds. the historical architecture of the hotel was beautiful, adding to the overall charm of our stay.

It felt cramped and lacked the space we needed for a comfortable seven-night stay. the design and furnishings could have been more well-thought-out, as the room felt a bit impersonal and uninspiring.

the staff were helpful in finding me a new place to stay when the hotel had to close due to the curfew. the lady who served me breakfast was really sweet. the shower was the best I had in Sri Lanka and my room even had a balcony. There's also a relaxing outside courtyard. the location in the middle of the Fort was fantastic.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊

The hotel is beautifully decorated with a simple and elegant decor, housed in a lovely historic building. The staff are friendly and attentive. The price is unbelievably cheap for the amazing location and the quality of the hotel. The air conditioning is crisp and cold. The welcome drink is a nice touch. The bathroom is very pretty and the room may even have a tiny balcony. The building has been well cleaned and restored.

Beautiful Hotel with a great location

I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for me. They even offered me a drink upon arrival and took care of my bags. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with the only downside being the slightly small bathroom. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was excellent, giving me plenty of energy for the day ahead. I highly recommend this hotel for its charm, location, and friendly staff.
