I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel that was situated on an island between an ocean and a lake. This place is simply amazing, surrounded by a beautiful garden area and located right on the beach. The staff here were always willing to help, and they provided exceptional service. The food options were great and varied, and the room service was very prompt. The pool was wonderful, with enough sun loungers and the pool bar staff were always happy to help make your drinks. The spa services were really affordable and of high quality.

This hotel is recommended to all seeking an unforgettable experience- a great atmosphere and friendly staff to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

We had a wonderful time staying at this great hotel. The location is perfect, being right on a gorgeous beach and near a beautiful river. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean in the background. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the room service staff who made our room look amazing every day. The food at the hotel was delicious, with a wide variety of choices including curries, international dishes, and a fantastic seafood platter. The breakfast setting on the deck by the river was lovely.

The hotel should improve the communication about the room types and their views to avoid any misunderstandings during check-in.

I had a wonderful week covering New Year at Centara. The location was idyllic, situated between the river and the ocean. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, with a balcony offering views of either the river or the ocean. The large swimming pool was perfect for a refreshing dip, and if I wanted a change, the beach was just steps away. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious, with a good variety of local dishes. The staff, especially Dilan and Nissanka, were friendly and attentive. The proximity to Aluthgama railway station made it convenient to explore Colombo and Galle. I highly recommend this hotel.
