The beach view room was amazing with a spacious design. the pool was large and the pool bar was a nice bonus. the breakfast buffet had a good variety of options. the location of the hotel, between the river and beach, allowed us to enjoy both. the extensive tropical gardens provided a serene atmosphere and plenty of sunbeds for relaxation.

The view of the beach was obstructed by trees, so it wasn't easy to see the beach or sea. It was unclear if the salespeople near the hotel were staff members.

The property offers great amenities and activities for all ages, including a nice pool area and a fantastic kids club. The bedrooms are comfortable and the housekeeping staff is helpful. The location is also ideal, with a beautiful beach view and spacious pools. The breakfast and dinner options are delicious, and the option to dine in an air-conditioned area is a plus.

The hotel staff were extremely polite and accommodating, the food was incredibly delicious and excellent value for money, the facilities in the room had a great view of the pool, and the hotel saved our wedding from a tropical storm.

We stayed for our honeymoon and it was the most wonderful experience! The hotel is stunning, with a beautiful layout and a well-kept garden. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay truly special. Highlights included a private honeymoon dinner and a fascinating history tour by the art curator. We were also impressed by the cocktail making session and the seamless organization by the staff. The beach was quiet and picturesque, perfect for long swims and walks. As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the pool area, the kids club, and the comfortable bedrooms. The staff, especially Dulman at reception, were incredibly helpful and friendly.

We spent New Year’s at a hotel by the beach with two amazing pools. the hotel was surrounded by luscious greenery and offered a view of a river. the comfortable double bed and the shower were the best parts of the room. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner, which had a variety of options to choose from.

The pricing was too steep, we felt that we could have received better service at a more reasonable price. the beach service wasn't great as we had to pay extra for seats on the beach.

The Cinnamon hotel in Bentota provided a truly delightful stay. The spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, along with the large and clean pools, created a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere. The helpful and polite staff made our experience even more enjoyable. The highlight of our stay was when a tropical storm threatened to ruin our wedding on the beach. However, the hotel stepped up and offered to be a last-minute venue, saving our special day. The delicious cuisine and the cultural show by local villagers added to the tropical resort ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. the location of the hotel was great, with easy access to both the river and the beach. I particularly enjoyed being able to enjoy water sports and boat rides through the mangrove thickets. the breakfast and lunch options were delicious and satisfying.

There were a few aspects of my stay that I did not enjoy. the toilet in my room was in poor condition and in need of repair.
