The location of this hotel up a hill in the forest is simply stunning. With a nice view out to the trees, it truly offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all guests feel well taken care of during their stay. Plus, with basic amenities and comfortable beds, including mosquito nets, this hotel offers great value for money.

All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory and met our expectations.

The breakfast had a variety of traditional dishes including hopper, pancakes, and coconut roti. The location was a short 5-minute walk from the main street. The spacious bedroom had clean bedsheets and mosquito nets. The bathroom was also spacious with minimal mosquitos. The owner greeted us upon arrival.

During our three-month travels in Sri Lanka, we stayed at Green Cottages in Ella and it was one of the best hotels we encountered. the rooms were clean, spacious, and cozy, with a refreshing wooden hut atmosphere and a balcony that offered a beautiful view of nature. We were delighted to spot various wildlife such as birds, monkeys, squirrels, deer, pigs, mongoose. the hotel's location in the jungle provided a unique and breathtaking experience that is hard to find elsewhere. It's also conveniently located just a 6-minute drive from Ella City.

The setting was very pleasant, surrounded by nature and with a nice little adventure walk to a waterfall. Breakfast was delicious, freshly made and served on a private terrace with stunning views. the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help us. We left something behind and they even brought it to us all the way to the train station.

There were some power cuts during our stay which was a bit inconvenient, but it seems to be a common issue in this area. the walk up to the hotel was quite steep, so it might be a challenge for some guests, but it's worth it for the nice location.

We had an unforgettable stay at a cozy cottage surrounded by lush green jungle. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast delivered to our room was delicious. We loved the remote feel of the location, while still being a short walk from the town. The bed was comfortable, and the views were breathtaking with wildlife right outside our balcony. The location of the hotel is perfect for nature lovers. It is close to restaurants but away from the busy street, nestled in a pitch black forest. Falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the forest is a delight. The rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly, providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious and filling, giving you a great start to your day.

The bathroom could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness and modernization.
