The location of the hotel is great, as it is situated in a green area with easy access to the beach. It is away from the busy city center, allowing guests to enjoy a peaceful retreat. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The staff provides excellent service and the breakfast is delicious. The view from the balcony is beautiful, with birds and animals adding to the natural surroundings.

The pool could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness and maintenance.

I had such a great time at this hotel! The staff were so dedicated and friendly, always willing to help with anything I needed. The location is fantastic, set back from the beach in a green area, giving you a real jungle experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, with air conditioning to make sure you're comfortable. The best part was the poolside restaurant, where the top chef prepared delicious local and western style food using fresh ingredients. And the prices were the same as at the beach, so no need to go anywhere else!

Great Christmas dinner with free drinks. When it comes to food and drink, this place knows how to throw a party. The live music added a friendly atmosphere. Lovely pool with a view of the rice paddies, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

The mud-covered road was a challenge for our driver and also the tuk-tuk drivers that the resort contracted for us. We were stuck in the mud on arrival and it took a while to get us out of there.

The beach is 10 mins away by car, with free sun beds near restaurants. Good weather and lively atmosphere. Service was exceptional, especially from Mr. Chandana, the manager. Breakfast was impressive, particularly the Ambul thiyal dish. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My stay at this retreat was a little bit of paradise. The location at the top of a hill provided stunning views and the opportunity to observe wildlife like birds and monkeys. The staff, especially the manager Udaya, were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even helped with laundry and organizing transportation. The owner, Asantha, was also very accommodating. a wonderful experience at Fort Edge Retreat.
