The value for the money was excellent, with breathtaking views from the room's balcony and a comfortable bed to watch the sunrise from without even having to move. The location was perfect, surrounded by the beauty of nature, and the staff, especially Sahan, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel like part of their Sri Lankan family.

For breakfast choices, it would be great to have a wider variety of options available.

Amazing views from the balcony, especially for sunrise and stargazing. Friendly and helpful staff, including the three brothers working there.- Convenient location, close to the center of the city and other attractions.

Weak WiFi and poor water pressure in the room. Curtains let in a lot of sunlight in the morning.

I was amazed by the breathtaking views from my room at Golden View Guest. From my balcony, I could see Ella Rock, Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Gap, and even little Ravana Falls. It was truly a sight to behold. The room was clean and comfortable, with a double bed and a single bed.

Although the climb up the steep steps to the guesthouse was a bit challenging, especially with my backpack, it was manageable for someone relatively fit. If needed, the host was kind enough to offer a ride in a tuk-tuk.

I recently stayed at Golden View Guest in Ella for 2 nights and it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even arranged an affordable ride for us to our next destination. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The rooms are spotlessly clean and if you're lucky enough to book a room with a mountain view, you can enjoy it from your own balcony. The quiet neighborhood is a perfect escape from the bustling city streets and it only takes 5 minutes to get to town or the train station by tuktuk. I had a pleasant and memorable stay.

We had an amazing stay at this guest house. the view from our room was breathtaking - we could see Ella Rock, Little Adam's Peak, Ella Gap, and even little Ravana falls. Despite the clouds, we still got a glimpse of the beautiful sunrise. the climb up the last 200m of steps was a bit challenging, especially with our backpacks, but anyone who is reasonably fit can handle it. If you can't make the climb, the hosts can arrange for a tuk-tuk to take you up. the hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the meals they served were tasty and affordable. Our room was comfortable, with a super comfy bed and magnificent views. the shower was a bit slow to heat up and not very powerful, but it did the job. we highly recommend Golden View Guest for a memorable stay.
