The view from the room was spectacular and the staff was accommodating and friendly. the complementary breakfast was delicious and the location was convenient for exploring the city. the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Our Easter experience was dampened by the lack of attention to detail and the spotty WiFi. We had requested a room with a bathtub but were given a room with just a shower.

We loved the old British atmosphere of the hotel and the excellent location within walking distance of the main attractions. The staff were very nice and attentive, providing us with great customer service throughout our stay. The view from our balcony was amazing, and the overall property reminded us of a famous hotel in San Francisco. Special shoutouts to Chef Shamini Rajendran, who went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs, and to the Indigo Restaurant for a delicious dinner. We also had a fantastic experience with the Executive Chef Indika Ekanayake and his wonderful team. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the breakfast was fantastic. Can't forget to mention the helpful staff who provided us with everything we needed, including towels by the pool and dressing gowns in our rooms.

This hotel is truly grand and luxurious! I was blown away by the exclusive amenities, including the indoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, and spa centre. the massage I received was top, notch and left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. the beauty treatments and body scrubs offered are a must, try!

This was a minor issue, and it was quickly resolved by the staff, who offered me access to the rooftop pool and sun terrace instead.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to attractions such as the Tamarind Indian restaurant, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, and the main lake area. The hotel is perched on top of a hill, providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The room and bathroom were well-maintained and comfortable. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Additionally, the hotel had excellent facilities, including a beautiful pool deck and a luxurious lobby area.
