I recently stayed at a budget-friendly guesthouse on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The location was excellent, just a short 3-minute walk to the beautiful beach of Mirissa. The room was spacious and clean, with a safe and mini fridge. The bathroom was well-maintained, with instant hot water in the rainforest shower. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, organizing a wonderful surfing lesson for us nearby. The breakfast provided was excellent, and the pool was a lovely place to relax after a day of exploring.

The bathroom in our room seemed a bit tired and could use some renovation.

I enjoyed the amenities like the outdoor pool and restaurant. The staff at the 24-hour front desk was quite helpful. The location was great, with easy access to the beach and harbor.

Oh, and let's not forget the lovely surprise of dirty sheets on the beds. Such attention to detail!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and the harbor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious and clean, with individual terraces where we could relax. We also enjoyed the great outdoor area with the pool, it was a lovely place to unwind. The hotel provided excellent service, with room service, car hire, and housekeeping. We also appreciated the welcome drink upon arrival. we couldn't have asked for better service during our stay here.
