I had such a wonderful experience at this luxurious hotel. The location of this place is just perfect, situated just off the lake and right by a local cricket pitch. It was so peaceful and serene, tucked away down a quiet lane. Plus, it's conveniently located in the heart of Colombo, within walking distance from the lake and all the attractions. The service here was top-notch, with amenities like car hire, dry cleaning, and housekeeping. I was welcomed with a refreshing drink and the room had all the necessary comforts like ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy sitting area and a lovely terrace with garden furniture. I particularly appreciated the soundproofed rooms, as it ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel also offered a delicious dining experience with a range of options, from a dining restaurant to a bar/lounge area and an outdoor dining area. The staff were attentive and accommodating, catering to special diet menus and even providing packed lunches. The hotel also provided free Wi-Fi and had an on-site car park and luggage storage for convenience. the quality of service and the comfort of the facilities made my stay here truly enjoyable.

The staff at Taru Villas - Lake Lodge made me feel incredibly welcome during my stay. The room was immaculate and tucked away from the main road. The Sri Lankan curry was absolutely divine and the breakfast kept me full all day. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were delighted with our stay at the Lake Lodge in Colombo. The convenient location near Beira Lake allowed us to easily explore the city's sights. The staff was incredibly helpful, arranging transportation for us and even welcoming us with a refreshing homemade ice lolly. The stylish restaurant impressed us with its sculptures and paintings, and the breakfast boxes provided for our early departure were a thoughtful touch. we highly recommend this boutique hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Colombo.

The hotel was conveniently located near several convenient stores, a school, and some nice restaurants with a pleasant walk by the nearby lake. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with attentive service from the friendly staff. Breakfast on the balcony area was excellent, and the hotel had a charming design created by a top interior designer. The garden suite even had its own private entrance through a lockable gate in the wall.
