some parts of the interior were damaged and there was mildew in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. Lastly, the check-in process could have been friendlier, as the staff member was not particularly welcoming.

I had a great time staying at this place. The location is ideal with easy access to the city centre within a short tut tut ride. Being situated on a hill overlooking the lake adds to its charm. The service was exceptional with prompt room service and helpful staff who were always available. I was able to avail of their car hire and laundry services as well, which was very convenient. The room itself was amazing with all necessary amenities and a lovely terrace. I was also able to enjoy a good breakfast at the dining restaurant.

The complementary breakfast was decent, and we were given a fruit basket upon arrival, which was a nice touch. the hotel was located near many popular tourist spots and had a beautiful view of the city.

Our room was in disrepair and in desperate need of renovation. the walls were thin, and we could hear everything happening in the hallway.

We stayed at the charming Lakewood Residence for a few days and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the hotel room had everything we needed, including a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and a great view of the lake. The hotel had a chill atmosphere and the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions. a highly recommended stay!

The Lakewood Residence in Kandy exceeded all expectations. The newly built hotel offers stunning views of the lake and Temple of the Tooth from the balcony. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with solid wood furniture. The friendly staff provide excellent service and the breakfast is delicious with a variety of Sri Lankan dishes. The hotel's facilities, including the rooftop pool and WiFi, are top-notch.
