The location of the hotel was great, away from the chaos of the coast, with a beautiful view of the sea. the breakfast served every morning on the balcony was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. the room was clean and well-decorated, with a large and comfortable bed.

There weren't many negative aspects to my experience at this hotel. the uphill walk to the hotel may be challenging for some, but it's not too far to get a tuk-tuk or a moped.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The room was brand new and beautifully decorated with a tasteful tulum style interior design. I loved having a balcony with a sea view and mango trees. The breakfast included was amazing, with typical Sri Lankan food and an amazing view. I also appreciated that the hotel was located up a hill, as it provided a peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views.

Tuk-tuk charges up the hill were a bit pricey.

We were amazed by the breathtaking views from our room at Lara's Place. The outdoor/indoor living space made us feel like we were part of the jungle. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. we highly recommend this hotel for a magical experience.

I stayed at a place in Unawatuna called Lara's Place and let me tell you, it was amazing! The staff was friendly, the balcony had a sea view with mango trees, and the interior design was new and stylish. Initially, I had doubts about the location, but it turned out to be closer to Angel beach than I expected. The view was breathtaking and the breakfast was exceptional. The room was comfortable and the host was hospitable. Lara's Place exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed.
