I recently stayed at a hotel in Colombo and had a great experience. Mandarina, the hotel I stayed at, had a convenient location and the staff, especially Shahir and the ladies at the reception, were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was impressive, with a wide variety of warm dishes from different cuisines, as well as delicious pastries and fresh tropical fruits. The rooms were spacious and clean, with good showers and comfortable amenities. The hotel also had a good selection of TV channels and a rooftop pool. it was a pleasant stay for a quick visit to Colombo.

Cold showers all day, every day. Yet the staff's nonchalant response and lack of compensation just added an extra sparkle to my stay.

We had an excellent stay at a fabulous hotel with friendly staff. The room was comfortable and the food was delicious. The hotel also provided strong Wi-Fi, which was very convenient. it was a great place to relax and unwind.

One drawback we experienced was the poor parking facilities. There was no guidance from the doorman or security on where to park, and the car park was quite far from the hotel.

The size of the bedrooms was impressive, and the separate walk-in wardrobe area was a nice touch. Although the infinity pool could benefit from more sun loungers on the same level, the temperature was perfect for a refreshing swim. I would highly recommend this hotel for its value for money and excellent breakfast experience.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, with a Sri Lankan Tea Board shop just across the road, making it easy to stock up on some amazing tea. The rooms are beautifully appointed with modern amenities, including thoughtful inclusions such as bathrobes and umbrellas. The staff is accommodating and the breakfast buffet is lovely. The rooftop restaurant offers a stunning view of the Indian Ocean and sunsets, while the rooftop pool is the perfect place to cool down under the Sri Lankan sun.

Construction noise during the day can be bothersome.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The food, both for breakfast and room service, was delicious. The bathroom was luxurious and the furniture in the room was top-notch. The pool and gym facilities were exceptional. I must thank Shahir, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. He accommodated all of our requests without hesitation. The level of customer service was truly amazing. I am already looking forward to my next stay at this hotel. Well done, Mandarina!

Nothing that I didn't like.

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They offered a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival and provided extra water without charging us. the rooftop restaurant had delicious food and offered a great view of the city, sea, and buildings. We were also upgraded to a room on the 10th floor, which had three windows with amazing views. the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city. the WiFi was strong and reliable, which was a bonus.

This hotel offers the ultimate luxurious experience with its exclusive amenities such as the stunning outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and sun terrace for ultimate relaxation. I also appreciated the high level of service provided by the friendly staff. The elegant room had some great advantages like an in-room breakfast and private facilities for a comfortable stay.

The only minor issue was the lack of entertainment options at the venue. However, the location advantages, with easy access to nearby attractions, made up for it.

A romantic sunset ruined by construction noise, but the helpful staff and comfortable room made up for it. I'll recommend this hotel.
