had a great overnight stay in Tissa, but Moon Light Guest House was a standout. Sanjeewa and his family were incredibly welcoming and took care of everything we needed. The delicious food, free bike rentals, and their expertise in organizing safaris made our stay unforgettable.

Noisy A/C made it hard to sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The cleanliness of the entire property was exceptional, and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The location, surrounded by rice fields, provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel facilities, including the fast and reliable Wi-Fi, efficient AC, and cable TV, added to the overall comfort of our stay. The breakfast and dinner served were delicious, and the owner even provided free laundry service. The highlight of our trip was the full day safari organized by the hotel owner, providing us with a truly amazing experience of seeing various animals in their natural habitat.

Loved the free bikes to explore, the helpful entertainment staff and the garden view from the room was delightful.

Apparently, the shared lounge, luggage storage, and a swimming pool mentioned on the website were just for decoration. Oops!

Clean, spacious rooms. Excellent shower pressure. Comfortable bed. Beautiful and peaceful location overlooking rice fields. Warm and welcoming staff. Good English communication. Reasonable prices for dinner. Free towels. Peaceful area for walking.
