I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful guesthouse near the entrance to the safari in Sri Lanka. The location was superb, as it was so close to the national park that going on a safari was a no-brainer. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a clean bathroom and a serene vibe. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was taken care of. Moreover, the delicious food served for breakfast and dinner was a highlight of my stay.

I did find one small downside during my stay - the lack of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. While the food was delicious, it would have been even better if there were more options for those with dietary restrictions.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was amazing! The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea and the festive decorations around the property. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby national park and visiting the elephant sanctuary. Plus, being surrounded by nature was incredibly peaceful and relaxing.

Honestly, we can't think of anything we didn't like about our stay. Everything was just so perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the delicious home-cooked meals.

The value for money at this hotel is exceptional. For a very reasonable price, you get so many great features in return. The location is tucked away from the main street, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere with the beautiful nature surrounding it. It's also just a short drive to the safari in the National Park and the Elephant Transit Home, making it a fantastic base for exploring. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with comfy beds and an excellent shower. The breakfast provided by the friendly and relaxed hosts is delicious, with a variety of options like fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and toast with jam.

All was more than okay, there's really nothing to complain about!
