Absolutely stunning beach and crystal-clear ocean- couldn't get enough of the scenery. the hotel staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help make our stay more enjoyable. the food was varied and delicious, we loved trying out the local seafood.

Sadly the hotel wasn't located near any restaurants or shops which was a bit of a bummer. the rooms were a bit dated and could use a revamping.

The location of this beach hotel is truly remarkable. Not only is it situated in the best beach in Sri Lanka, but it is also very close to pigeon island, making it a perfect spot for snorkeling and diving. Additionally, the in-house bakery produces an excellent array of goodies, adding to the overall appeal. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

I had the most incredible time at Nilaveli Beach Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the beautiful beach right on my doorstep. The sand was soft, the water crystal clear, and I spent hours lounging under the sun. The hotel provided loungers and umbrellas, so I could relax in comfort. The beach was never too crowded, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and attentive. They always greeted me with a smile and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The rooms were well-maintained and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a day of beach activities. The hotel also had a pool area, which was a great alternative to the beach if I wanted a change of scenery. As for dining options, the restaurant served delicious food with a variety of options to choose from. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide selection of dishes to start the day off right. While the meals in the pool restaurant had limited vegetarian options, the overall dining experience was enjoyable.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the limited WiFi access and the need for some room renovation, these minor inconveniences did not overshadow the wonderful time I had at Nilaveli Beach Hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable beach getaway.

Beautiful beachfront room with sea view, incredible Aircon, stunning swimming pool, and private clean beach. Enjoyed a boat trip to see reef sharks at pigeon island. Good buffet with fresh seafood and friendly service. Cold water available upon request.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel located on a stunning beach, near beautiful Pigeon Island for snorkeling. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a fantastic pool area and shady spaces with hammocks. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always accommodating to our needs. The breakfast offered a great variety of Sri Lankan and Western options. The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy transportation to nearby attractions.
