As a tourist, I absolutely loved my stay at Palms Villa in Sri Lanka. From the moment I arrived at Colombo airport, the owner Gerry picked me up and made me feel right at home. The family room was spacious and comfortable, with clean sheets and towels. The property itself was well-maintained, with a beautiful garden, pool, and terrace. The living room was a cozy spot to relax and unwind, with plenty of DVDs and even a piano. The food at Palms Villa was exceptional, especially Gerry's burgers and chicken curry. I also enjoyed the delicious and fresh breakfast each morning. the villa had everything I needed - from clean and comfortable accommodations to great food and wonderful hosts - all at affordable prices.

Felt like it was our own home, nothing to complain about.

If you're someone who wants to be in direct touch with nature without being too far from civilization, then this hotel is perfect for you. Located in a quiet residential area, it offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Plus, it's just a short 10-minute drive from the airport, making it an ideal choice for your first or last night in Sri Lanka. Although there may not be many restaurants or attractions within walking distance, the hotel provides tuk tuk rides to the beach and other nearby places. So you can still explore the surroundings without any hassle.

One drawback of this hotel is that it may not be the most convenient option for those looking for a lively and bustling atmosphere. Due to its location in a residential area, there may not be much around in terms of entertainment or attractions.
