The room was incredibly comfortable, with a super nice bed and a proper shower. the AC worked wonderfully and was a lifesaver in the heat. the swimming pool was a great addition, perfect for cooling off after a long day of exploring. the breakfast served was really lovely, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the staff was always friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The lack of privacy in the bathroom. Although there was a door separating the bedroom and bathroom, there was also an open window, which compromised the privacy while using the toilet.

The rooms with balconies provided a lovely view of the adjacent river and were really comfortable with a super nice bed. The breakfast, with the sweetest ever bananas, was served by the canal in the garden, offering a nice view of the surrounding greenery.

Located in a peaceful area, we were close enough to walk or take a tuk tuk to nearby restaurants and shops. The garden by the canal was a serene spot to relax and enjoy the view. The spacious rooms were spotlessly clean and had a nice view over the pool. The friendly staff provided excellent service and the delicious breakfast in the garden was a great start to the day.

I recently visited a guest house and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service and friendliness of the staff. the breakfast was a delightful mix of local and western cuisines that left me thoroughly satisfied, and the location was perfect as it allowed me to walk to restaurants and shops with ease. What I loved most about my stay was the beautiful pool and sunbathing area that helped me relax after a busy day of meetings. the management went above and beyond to make my stay more comfortable by offering to pay for a tuk-tuk for single women travelling at night, and even bringing ice creams for the kids.

One aspect that wasn't perfect was the hot water - it seemed to be inadequate. However, after some investigation, I realized that there was a hot water button that I was unsure of where it was located.

serendib village guest house impressed us with their helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, and great breakfast. We were able to enjoy the pool even after checking out and they even let us use a shower before heading to the airport. The location was quiet and tranquil while still being a short walk to the shops and restaurants on the beach road. Definitely recommend!
