This place is truly unique - the whole house is hand-painted by the owner, Heidi, creating a delightful and incredible atmosphere. Located near Gregory Lake, you can enjoy scenic walks and even catch a glimpse of the lake from your window. Heidi herself is one of the friendliest hosts we encountered in Sri Lanka, offering helpful information and even preparing breakfast packages for our early morning departure to Horton Plains. She went above and beyond by arranging alternative transportation for us when the train was not running due to landslides. An incredible room and overall experience!

I stayed at Serendipity Lake Artistic Bungalow By Heidis Home for a few nights and it was truly an amazing experience. The attention to detail in the furniture and design made it a true work of art. The host's personal touch added a unique and cozy atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious and the view from the balcony overlooking the lake was breathtaking. Despite the chilly weather, the provided blankets kept me warm throughout the night. The host was friendly and helpful, making it the perfect choice for my stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful bungalow in Nuwara Eliya and it was truly a wonderful experience. the rooms were spacious and well-designed, with all the necessary amenities such as a hair dryer, slippers, and fresh towels. the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Waking up to the stunning view of the lake was a real treat. Heidi, the host, was amazing. She not only served delicious breakfasts each morning with generous portions, but also provided valuable tips on local attractions and even helped us book a cab and packed our lunches for a day trip. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
