We got incredible value for our money with the Deluxe Water Cottage - it was even better than the photos, spacious and filled with amazing amenities. The location was perfect, with the beautiful pool and wildlife surrounding us. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even providing free bicycles for us to explore the area.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better would be more breakfast items to choose from.

I recently stayed at a cozy and clean cottage at Sigiriya Water Cottage for a few days. The surroundings were beautiful, and the owner, Ruwan, was incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast provided was lovely, and the pool was extremely well maintained. If you're looking for a comfortable and unique experience in the countryside near Lion Rock, this is the place I would highly recommend!

Loved this place! the owner was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. the cottage was beautifully designed and super clean. We were even given a ride to Sigiriya rock and picked up after dinner! the property had a great swimming pool and we were lucky enough to see wildlife roaming around. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring all the nearby sites and attractions.

Lovely accommodation, but could use a bedside reading light. Balcony seats for family of 5 would be great. Exceptional food and delightful staff. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was very modern and spacious, with a bathtub and shower room. We loved the little kitchen with a fridge and kettle. The hotel also had a lovely pool and beautiful landscaping with fruit trees. The staff were very attentive and went the extra mile to arrange trips and transport for us. The breakfast was delicious and the owners even prepared it for us early in the morning when we had to leave. The location was also great, close to attractions and within walking distance of nice restaurants and cafes.

We loved the spacious room with a wonderful terrace and a view of the beautiful nature. The cleanliness and maintenance of the room were impressive. The surrounding nature was amazing.

I had a great weekend at this hotel. the rooms were spacious and comfortable with a nice view. the location of the hotel was convenient and close to key attractions in the area. the staff was friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests. it was a pleasant stay.

I did have one issue during my stay. the bathroom in my room didn't have a window that could be opened to let fresh air in.

Lovely family and staff, helpful and friendly. Pretty location, short cycle ride from town. Comfortable rooms with nice seating, bath, and tea/coffee facilities. Great bonus of a pool. Tasty breakfast and delicious dinner at the family's house nearby.
