We had an amazing stay at Taru Villas Maia! The property is absolutely stunning with its beautiful layout and architecture. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and every request was met with a smile. The highlight of our stay was the exquisite 5-course dinners, which were the best meals we had during our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The property is also conveniently located for exploring nearby attractions like Polonnaruwa and Sigiriyi. I highly recommend Taru Villas Maia for a truly special and luxurious experience.

The luxurious amenities and personalized service at this hotel were outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to fulfill all our needs. We particularly enjoyed the exclusive room advantages and the delicious dinner served at the restaurant. Spending time at the beautiful outdoor swimming pool, with its pool with view and sun loungers, was a highlight of our stay.

If we had to be picky, the lack of a gym/spa facilities was a minor issue. However, this was more than compensated for by the stunning garden area and picnic area/tables where we relaxed and enjoyed the view.

The hotel was conveniently located near our business meetings. The staff were very helpful and attentive, and they even upgraded our room which was a nice surprise. The food was also a standout feature, with a great variety of dishes to choose from and everything we tried was delicious!

The only negative thing we experienced was the lack of gym or spa facilities, which would have been a bonus. the noise levels in some areas of the hotel were a bit distracting, but nothing too disruptive.

The service provided by the staff is exceptional, with the Dining Manager Dipal standing out for his friendly demeanor and great conversations. The rooms are spacious, clean, and contemporary, offering a comfortable and luxurious stay. The restaurant serves delicious food, including their homemade Banana Granola and curd, coconut ice cream, and a variety of Sri Lankan curries.

The hotel does not have a central place to sit, which gives it a somewhat soulless feel.
