We had an amazing stay at this place in the north of Sri Lanka. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with a big shower that made us feel like dancing. We loved the private deck that overlooked the lush surroundings. The swimming pool was also a great addition, perfect for a refreshing dip. The staff at this hotel was super friendly and mostly local, which gave us a chance to interact with them and learn about the history of the area. The highlight of our stay was when we invited one of the staff members and his family to join us on a day trip to the northern tip of Sri Lanka. It was an unforgettable experience, and we were so touched by the warm welcome we received from his family.

We would highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

The Palmyrah House exceeded our expectations with its breathtaking location and spacious rooms. The large balcony offered stunning views of the surrounding area. The manager was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Every extra request we had was fulfilled perfectly. The hotel truly is an oasis of luxury, and we highly recommend it to anyone, especially bird watchers. Despite a few minor drawbacks, our overall experience was exceptional.

Spent New Year and had a wonderful time at the hotel. the rooms were spacious and came with all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the location was ideal as it was surrounded by nature and close to key tourist spots. the staff was friendly and efficient and made the stay even more pleasant. the food was good with a decent variety of dishes.

The set menu for meals was pricey and a bit restrictive. the vegetarian options were quite limited.
