Our group of friends had an amazing stay at Wallawwa. The staff was exceptional and made us feel taken care of without being intrusive. The accommodation was beautiful and peaceful, with immaculately maintained rooms. The restaurant served superb food and provided excellent service.

I had a fantastic stay at this amazing property, conveniently located just 18 minutes from the airport. It was the perfect way to start or end my trip in Srilanka. The Wallawwa is a prime hotel with lush greenery and bespoke interiors. The suites are incredible and they even have their own farm where they grow produce. Menaka, the hotel manager, along with the entire staff, were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. The food was also delicious, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Guests can also enjoy the well-maintained garden and pool area.

The hotel's mosquito control measures during dinner could be improved to ensure a more comfortable experience for guests.

I had a fantastic first night at a hotel close to the airport. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with a private plunge pool. The food was amazing, especially the black pork curry. Despite a minor inconvenience with the pool being closed temporarily, the staff provided excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

After a tiring flight, I found the perfect sanctuary at a boutique hotel just outside of Colombo. The warm welcome, comfortable room, and dinner on the verandah made me feel instantly at ease. The highlight of my stay was the delicious waiter-served breakfast, enjoyed while watching a bridal couple's photo shoot. Despite being located near a busy road, the hotel's tranquility surprised me. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and rejuvenating overnight stay.

Plus, the staff goes above and beyond to provide excellent service, making you feel right at home. And let's not forget about the breakfast - it's the perfect way to start your day with a delicious spread of options.

It's worth mentioning that the bar is currently under renovation, which may limit some of the drink options available during your stay.

My room was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious waterfall shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of Sri Lankan hoppers or western style eggs and bacon. The hotel is set in beautiful tropical gardens, and there is even a small pool to relax by. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as stained bathroom floors and a non-functioning safe, the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend The Wallawwa for a peaceful and comfortable stay before your flight.

As young people, we loved the old world colonial charm of this 19th century mansion. The tropical location and stunning surroundings added to the allure. The staff were exceptional, taking care of our every need. The accommodation was beautiful and well-maintained. The restaurant served the best food we've ever had in a hotel. a perfect introduction to Sri Lankan culture, history, and cuisine.

We felt extremely welcome and had nothing to complain about.
