For the value we paid, Lakeside Cabana exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with a large bed, mosquito nets. The location of the hotel, right by the lake surrounded by lush greenery, was simply breathtaking. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even lent us a scooter when we needed it.

The breakfast option could be improved with more flavorful and appetizing choices.

I had an amazing stay at Lakeside Cabana in Tissa. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake. The facilities were in great condition and everything worked well. The friendly family who runs the place made me feel right at home and provided delicious meals at a fair price. I even had the opportunity to borrow a bike and explore the surrounding area. The highlight of my trip was the safari at Yala Park, which was organized by the host. Our guide, Indu, was fantastic and we saw a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants and leopards. It was truly a special experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming. They were always available to assist us and even lent us some clothes for a wedding we attended near the hotel. the location of the hotel is amazing, surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we had a great view of the lake from our window. In the evenings, the staff would come by to check on us and put mosquito coils out.

We booked a safari through the hotel which turned out to be disappointing. the safari was a private one, and we would have preferred a shared experience.

In addition, the delicious breakfast and well-maintained bathrooms add to the overall positive experience.

Some guests reported occasional inconvenience due to ongoing construction noise on the property.

the bungalows were simply beautiful, and the views of the lake were incredible. the hammocks dotted all over the property provided a perfect opportunity to just relax and take everything in. the rice and curry we had here was the best we had on our trip, and the safari arranged by the family was excellent and knowledgeable. we felt like our luxurious needs were well taken care of and we would highly recommend this hotel as an exclusive getaway.

The only negative experience we had was that there was some litter around the property, which detracted from the beautiful setting. this was a minor issue, as the rest of the hotel was simply breathtaking.
