The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring downtown Kalmar. We were just moments away from the bustling pedestrian street and a variety of good restaurants, including the authentic Italian trattoria Ernesto's. The central location made it convenient to access all the attractions in the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Best Western in Kalmar for two nights on our trip. The locally sourced breakfast was one of the best we've had. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, allowing us to sleep for 12 hours each night. The town itself was lovely, and even though we couldn't visit the castle, we enjoyed walking around it. The town had informative story boards throughout, adding to the charm. It was the perfect stopover between Copenhagen and Stockholm.
