I stayed at Birka for my vacation in Stockholm, a total of two separate times. The location is perfect, just minutes away from the main square and central station. The hostel is clean and the toilets and showers are well-maintained. The price is great, especially considering the central location. Meeting interesting fellow travelers was a highlight of my stay. Lastly, the night staff member was incredibly kind and handled a serious issue professionally, making me feel safe and secure.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Convenient location, 10 min walk to attractions and public transport. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is available at a reasonable price. Clean and tidy room. Nice bonus with heated bathroom floor.

This hotel is located almost in the city center, making it convenient for shopping and exploring. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the rooms. I stayed in a room with my own bathroom, which was great for privacy and comfort.

We had a great experience at Birka Hotel. It was our second visit and even though our preferred room was unavailable, the 8-bed female dorm room turned out to be perfect. the room was clean and cozy, with stylish features like chandeliers and make-up mirrors. the shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea in the kitchen. the location of the hotel was fantastic, with supermarkets, restaurants, and everything we needed within walking distance. We will definitely choose Birka Hotel again for our next stay.

We loved the bustling area of our hotel, it was in the heart of the city and several points of interest were few blocks away. We enjoyed visiting the grocery store right across the hotel, although it was slightly more expensive than other stores, it had a nice assortment of products. Additionally, it was super convenient having the metro station at such a close distance from our hotel room.

The cleaning could have been better.

The location was great, close to public transportation, restaurants, and attractions. the complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi were a nice touch. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations for local activities.

The walls were thin and noise from neighboring rooms was easily heard. the check-in time is quite late and the reception is not open 24/7, making it difficult for late arrivals.

The women's dorm had comfortable wooden beds, providing a peaceful sleep without feeling any movement. The location was excellent, with easy access to Centralstation and the Hötorget SL station. The large elevator was convenient for travellers with heavier luggage. Clean toilets and showers added to the positive experience.

birka was a budget stay that exceeded my expectations, with a friendly staff and convenient location near the subway. the room was spacious, with comfy beds and convenient amenities like night lights and charging outlets.

We loved how close it was to a small shop, making it easy to grab any essentials we needed. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing great service throughout our stay. the breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a variety of options to choose from. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We did notice that the shared toilets and showers were a bit limited, which led to some waiting time during peak hours.

I recently stayed at Birka in Stockholm for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The 8 beds female room I stayed in was incredibly spacious, much more so than other hostels I've been to. The cleanliness of the room was a standout feature, as it was spotless. The staff at Birka are simply amazing. They were always available to help and went above and beyond to assist with any requests. The receptionists were particularly helpful, allowing us to check-in before the designated time. Additionally, the beds were incredibly comfortable.

I highly recommend this hotel.
