Spent New Year's Eve in a hotel with stunning views of the lake. the room was both cozy and comfortable with thick curtains that blocked out the almost endless daylight during winter. Fully enjoyed the delicious dinner and appreciated the warmth from the fireplace after watching the fireworks outside. the staff was friendly and helpful, adding an extra touch to an already amazing experience.

The sauna was below expectations and felt cramped with separate beds that gave little privacy. the path around the lake, which is beautiful during summer, could be better lit at night.

We had the pleasure of taking a leisurely stroll around the lake, immersing ourselves in the stunning surroundings. The simplicity of the rooms did not disappoint, as they were immaculately clean, and the bathroom appeared to have been recently updated. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The restaurant showcased unique Sami decorations, adding to the overall charm of the place. We enjoyed a delightful dinner on the terrace, taking advantage of the warm summer evening. The menu featured delicious local dishes, showcasing the authenticity of the cuisine. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of certain amenities, the overall experience was enjoyable. For our future visits to Jokkmokk, we will undoubtedly consider staying here again. I highly recommend this hotel for its amazing location and welcoming atmosphere.
