I had a delightful stay at Scandic in Karlstad. The outdoor dining area provided a stunning view of the Klarälven river, the longest in Scandinavia. It was a treat to watch the local hillbillies cruise along the river in their American Classics. The hotel's location was ideal, just a 15/20 minute walk to town. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable and the food at the restaurant was of high quality. I recommend this hotel for a quiet and comfortable stay in Karlstad.

The friendly and helpful desk personnel made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Despite the nearby freeway, the room was surprisingly quiet and provided a good night's sleep. The highlight of our stay was the delicious "Scandic-breakfast," with a wide range of options to choose from.

Worst room for families, the family room was really small with fold-away beds on the wall.

I had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, with a stunning view of the river right from my room. The sunrise in the mornings was simply breathtaking. The staff here were incredibly pleasant and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was also very nice, and it was great to have the option to use the ironing facilities if needed.
