capernwray house in carnforth exceeded our expectations! the beautiful gardens and spotlessly clean guest house made us feel right at home. the fresh cake and snacks in the fridge were a delightful surprise. the comfortable bed and quiet setting ensured a peaceful sleep. the breakfast spread was amazing with a variety of options to choose from. thank you mel for the amazing attention to detail!

no complaints, everything was perfect

The warm welcome from the host made me feel instantly at home. She even arranged a lovely pot of tea with tasty cakes upon our arrival. The rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculate, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location was also perfect, with easy access to the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, and North West Coast. The only small improvement that could be made was the low water volume in the shower, but it wouldn't stop me from visiting again. I highly recommend this lovely place to stay.

The room we stayed in had stunning views of the countryside and was very spacious. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the small fridge stocked with fresh milk and snacks. the homemade cakes and offer of tea/coffee upon arrival were a lovely touch. the breakfast provided was prompt and delicious, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our dietary restrictions. the location was ideal, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting while still being easily accessible from main roads. the attention to detail and the friendly and accommodating staff made our stay enjoyable.

Carpenwray House was a gem of a place and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the Highlands of Scotland. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the surrounding area and beautiful gardens to relax in. The room was immaculately clean and had all the necessary facilities, including a well-appointed bathroom with a large shower and plenty of hot water. The service was excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. it was a peaceful and secluded retreat with breathtaking views.

There was only one negative aspect, as the hotel can get very busy on weekends, which might cause a bit of a delay when leaving the premises.

This hotel was a luxurious stay, with exclusive amenities that really fulfilled all my needs. the leisure room was a great place to relax, and the garden area was perfect for enjoying the sun. the private facilities in my room really elevated the experience. Service was excellent, and the special diet menus were much appreciated.

The location was a bit far from the attractions I wanted to see, but the hotel made up for it with their picnic area and tables for easy dining on the go. this hotel was an amazing venue for a high-end stay with lots of perks to enjoy.
