This hotel is located in a lovely neighbourhood which is quiet and peaceful, yet not too far from the main train station and the lake shore. Rooms are clean and come with basic amenities, some even have a view and balcony. There's a small kitchen for cooking and heating food. Selected detail: Rooms with shared bathroom are clean and convenient.

I had a fantastic stay at the hostel. the staff at Backpackers Luzern were extremely friendly and provided wonderful service. the atmosphere was happy and welcoming, with a nice design and an ambition to create a cozy and international environment. the location was also great, right next to the lake and only a 15 to 20-minute walk from the city. I loved that all the rooms had balconies, and the beds were comfortable. I also appreciated the smart and cool idea of organizing the fridge with boxes assigned to each room. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if I return to the area.

It was more than I expected and a great value for the money. The location is fantastic, right in front of Luzerne Lake, with a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The common space was cozy and the kitchen was a bonus for preparing meals. The hostel is clean and well-maintained, with sufficient bathrooms and toilets. The free city travel ticket provided at check-in was a nice touch.

We enjoyed our romantic escape at this hotel. the kitchen provided enough bowls and plates for our use. the shared shower rooms were always clean and available when we needed to use them. the hotel's location was perfect; it was situated in a nice neighborhood with some great food places just a 10-minute walk away.

Some aspects of our stay were not as enjoyable. Some rooms facing the sunlight could get quite hot during the summer, and there weren't enough fans to help us cool down at night.
