The location of this hotel is fantastic, situated in a peaceful area right in front of a small mall with grocery stores and a gas station. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic, always ready to assist guests. The basic amenities in the rooms, especially the ones with 6 beds, are well-maintained and comfortable.

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans cette maison d'hôtes. Dès notre arrivée, le propriétaire nous a accueillis chaleureusement et nous a fait sentir comme chez nous. Les chambres étaient très propres et chaque petit détail était soigneusement pris en compte. Le personnel était extrêmement attentionné et aimable. L'emplacement était également un énorme avantage, à seulement quelques pas de la gare et du centre-ville. De plus, l'arrêt de bus était à quelques minutes à pied. Nous recommanderons cet endroit à tous ceux qui visitent la région.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The price was very reasonable, and it was in a great location near a mall and gas station. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the rooms were comfortable, especially with the fantastic comfortable couches! The shared bathrooms were very clean, and breakfast was included which was a nice surprise.

As a first-time hostel guest, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Balmers Hostel exceeded my expectations. The check-in process was quick and easy, thanks to the friendly Suzanne. Our private room was simple yet cozy, and most importantly, spotlessly clean. The hostel offers a range of in-house activities, perfect for those days when the weather isn't on your side. The breakfast options were nice, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning to Balmers in the future.

I absolutely loved my stay at this cozy hostel nestled in the beautiful Alps! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hostel had a variety of spaces to relax and unwind, and the kitchen was large and always clean. The location was convenient, just a short walk away from various attractions. And the best part? I had the option to book a double bed room for added privacy. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place!

While there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as some noise from the street and occasionally hearing footsteps in the hallway, these were easily remedied with a pair of earplugs. Additionally, it would have been helpful to have some signs indicating the location of the toilet and shower facilities.

balmers made my stay in interlaken truly special. the staff were incredibly helpful and the atmosphere was amazing. i loved the back patio and the food exceeded my expectations. a must-stay if you're planning a trip to interlaken.
