The location of this hostel was perfect, right in the heart of the city. It was just next to the shopping street in the old town and a supermarket was conveniently located right across the road. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, especially the showers which were the nicest I have seen in a hostel. The staff was super friendly and provided excellent information about the city. The breakfast was also very nice, with a good variety of options available.

barabas luzern truly exceeded my expectations during my budget stay in lucerne. the funky concept, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast made my experience unforgettable. it's a place with a twist of history, run by artists, and even has a chill garden to relax in. definitely not your average hotel!

The rooms were on the smaller side, and with four people, it quickly became messy and cramped. It would have been helpful to have some hooks on the walls to hang towels or bags, or even access to lockers for rent.

Great breakfast with a variety of options and delicious cheese. Excellent location with a grocery store right across the street and affordable restaurants nearby. Also, they offer a 10% discount on the Pilatus golden ticket which is a nice extra.

The ongoing construction work inside was incredibly noisy, with loud banging and metal sounds early in the morning which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The garden, although present, lacked proper lighting and wasn't conducive for socializing.
