We loved the convenience of the hotel's location right in front of the train station. It made transportation in the Jungfraujoch area incredibly easy as we could easily access the rack railway up to Kleine Scheidegg for skiing. The hotel was very clean and the facilities provided were excellent. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and we particularly enjoyed the fresh baked bread.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right in front of the train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. the staff at both the front desk and the restaurant were friendly and welcoming, providing great service. I particularly appreciated the attentiveness of the staff, especially when they took care of my special dietary needs, accommodating my gluten-free diet by providing me with gluten-free options for breakfast.

There were a few instances of rude behavior from one of the restaurant staff members. This staff member seemed to have a negative attitude towards Asian tourists, which was quite unpleasant to witness.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic hotel in the heart of the Alps. The location couldn't have been better – right next to the Grindelwald train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the Jungfrau region and its stunning mountain stations. The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise, with spacious rooms that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding alpine landscape. I particularly enjoyed the balcony on the fourth floor, which provided an incredible vantage point to admire the majestic Eiger Mountain. The Swiss charm and attention to detail in the rooms added to the overall experience, making it a truly memorable stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that I had a pleasant and enjoyable time. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – delicious and plentiful, setting me up for a day of exploration. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during my visit to this beautiful region.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location was perfect, right across the street from the train station in the lovely village. It was so convenient to catch a gondola lift to explore the mountains. The hotel facilities were great, with spacious and clean rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, accommodating my requests and providing excellent service. The breakfast provided a variety of delicious options and the dining area had a cozy atmosphere.

Despite being so close to the station, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was. The views from our room were absolutely stunning, allowing us to truly appreciate the beauty of the surrounding scenery. The hotel itself had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the wait staff in the restaurant, and the breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The hotel management team, including the GM and his wife, were always present and ensured that we were well taken care of. We appreciated the personalized touch of receiving a small token on arrival and a chocolate upon check-out. The Derby Swiss Quality Hotel truly provided us with a great experience during our stay.

Had a great stay at Derby Hotel! Stayed for 3 nights with my family. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond to assist with motorcycle parking and provide useful information. The hotel's location, right in front of the train station, was very convenient. The availability of a Tesla destination charger was a pleasant surprise, even though it was unfortunately not accessible during my visit. a wonderful experience!

As business guests, we were impressed by the easy parking spots, centrally located hotel with delightful and helpful staff. The wonderful restaurant offered a delicious supper with a 10% discount, and the hot and cold breakfast was equally delightful. The room was clean and spacious, with coffee and teas provided. The hotel also provided great provisions for winter sports gear and for those arriving by car. Highly recommend the mountain karting activity as well.

The best aspects of this hotel were its location and the friendly staff. Being right next to the train station was incredibly convenient for traveling to Interlaken and Jungfraujoch. Additionally, the hotel was just seconds away from the cogwheel train station, perfect for exploring the peaks of this beautiful area. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including gluten-free choices, and the staff went above and beyond to assist and make me feel welcome.

Superb views: We were lucky enough to have a room with an amazing view of the mountains, which was truly breathtaking.

Noise issue: Although the hotel is located near the train station, we were pleasantly surprised that it was not as noisy as we expected. However, there was some noise disturbance during our stay due to a group check-in late at night, which was unfortunate.
