the location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and offering easy access to Jungfraujoch, Grindelwald, Interlaken, and Schildhorn. the hotel itself was a collection of beautifully maintained historic houses, adorned with flowers and lights at night. We received a warm welcome and helpful advice on local attractions, along with a reduction voucher for train travel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the mountains and village. the staff were all friendly and attentive. the highlight was undoubtedly the restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious meals with a great atmosphere. the menu offered a variety of dishes, including local specialties, and an extensive cheese selection. We would happily visit this hotel and its surroundings again.

Despite any minor inconveniences, the cleanliness of the room and the peacefulness of the quiet village location made me feel at home. We recently enjoyed a romantic escape at this hotel and it was amazing! the restaurant was a highlight, with excellent food and a knowledgeable wine expert. the spacious and clean accommodations were also a plus, with a comfortable feather duvet and friendly staff who provided extra amenities like pillows and afternoon coffee and cake. the location was perfect for us, with stunning mountain views and a quiet terrace to relax on. we would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

While we loved our stay at this hotel, there were a few negative aspects to note. the wifi was not available in our room and the so-called "suite" was not quite what we expected - it was really just a one bedroom with a small living area with pull-out couch that was uncomfortable.
