I recently stayed at Hotel Alpina for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to shops, bars, the railway station, and restaurants. The continental breakfast had a great variety of options, and my room even had a balcony with seating. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel had free wifi and English channels on the TV. The hotel is in a prime location for exploring and enjoying all that Zermatt has to offer.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet alley, which allows for a peaceful atmosphere. it is conveniently close to the train station, making it easily accessible. being situated in the center of the city offers convenience for exploring. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided is of excellent quality with a wide variety of options. some rooms offer balconies with stunning views, such as the Matterhorn.

Some noise from adjacent rooms may be audible, depending on the behavior of other guests.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Alpina in Zermatt. The ski/boot storage area was a great touch, with heat warmers for our damp boots. The balcony allowed us to enjoy the winter wonderland after six inches of snow overnight. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The reception was efficient, and our 4th-floor room had a splendid view of the Matterhorn. The Nescafe machine in the room was a nice touch, and the breakfast had a great selection. a fantastic experience.

I had an exceptional stay at a charming hotel in the heart of a beautiful mountain town. My room had a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. The cozy atmosphere and well-preserved Alpine style added to the overall charm. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and right in the center of town. The staff was helpful and friendly. Despite a minor issue with towels on the first night and a less than ideal pillow, these were insignificant compared to everything else. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

stayed in zermatt before, but alpina exceeded expectations! fabulous breakfast and helpful staff. loved the separate shower and bath. very comfortable and convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located near shops and within a short walking distance to the ski lifts. It is also relatively close to one of the Green Line bus stops, making it easy to access the main ski areas. The rooms are small but cozy, with wooden walls creating a charming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering excellent service. the breakfast provided is generous and the view from the balcony is lovely.

The shower roof in the private bathroom is too short, making it difficult to take a standing shower.

The breakfast was amazing! It was complete and fresh, with a good variety of food. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. They made me breakfast to go when I had to leave early in the morning. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location was perfect - very close to the railway station and just a minute away from the main street. Despite being so central, it was surprisingly calm and quiet.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Zermatt. The staff at Alpina were incredibly kind and helpful. They went above and beyond by carrying our luggage up and down the stairs since there was no elevator. Despite not having a kettle in the room, they kindly provided us with boiled water upon our return. The room was comfortable with a pleasant temperature, and I especially enjoyed the balcony that overlooked a beautiful garden.

The location was superb - close to transportation, in a peaceful neighborhood, and right in the center of town. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the clean and charming rooms with comfortable beds and a beautiful view. The breakfast options were tasty and diverse, and the staff was friendly and always ready to assist.

We couldn't have asked for a better location during our stay at Alpina. Situated right in the heart of town, with a stunning view of the Matterhorn, it provided the perfect base for our adventures. It did take a little effort to find, as it is tucked away on a side street, but once we checked in at the hotel in front, everything was smooth sailing. The rooms, albeit small, were cozy and clean – exactly what you'd expect from a budget hotel. And let's not forget the highlight of our mornings – an outstanding breakfast that left us energized for the day. The staff were always on hand to assist us, making our stay even more enjoyable. we couldn't have been happier with our experience at Alpina.

The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful, rushing over to assist my older parents with their luggage. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked with coffee and sparkling water. The hotel had a cozy cabin feel, and many of the rooms had balconies. The breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of options including fresh veggies. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was within walking distance of the main church and all amenities.
