We had a delightful stay at Hotel Blumlisalp for 4 nights. The location, nestled at the foot of the highest mountains in Europe, offered breathtaking views that took our breath away. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel right at home. The food at the restaurant was excellent, with delicious cordon bleu and schnitzel being some of our favorites. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy, with a vintage chalet vibe that added to the overall charm. The peacefulness of the surroundings, away from the crowds, made for a truly unbeatable experience.

With its ski-to-door access and ski storage space, we were able to enjoy various activities like skiing and cycling right from the hotel. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made sure our children, Lucy and Max, felt welcome and entertained throughout our stay.

Views that went on forever, like a never-ending movie. Free Wi-Fi was a blessing, thank goodness I could post all those mountain selfies. The homemade meat specialties were heavenly, the cows here must have PhDs in deliciousness.

Paying extra for a hairdryer, not having to feel like a detective searching for a secret treasure in the hotel just to dry my hair, was an enlightening experience.

The view of the surrounding mountains from our balcony in the morning was breathtaking. The location of the hotel was perfect - away from the busy parts of town but still close enough to enjoy the beautiful mountain town. The staff were exceptional and even allowed us to sit at the "Stammtisch" table with our dog in the restaurant. The hotel and the town of Grindelwald were very dog-friendly. The free bus pass provided by the hotel was a great perk that allowed us to explore the area without needing to use our car.

We got great value for our money at Hotel Blumlisalp in Grindelwald. The room was clean, cozy, and had an amazing view of the Eiger mountain from the balcony. The location was slightly off-center, but well connected by buses, providing a peaceful and quiet stay. Plus, the staff member who helped us during our eye emergency went above and beyond, providing helpful directions to the nearest ER. The breakfast in the morning was top-notch, with delicious local products and outstanding bread. We also appreciated the free bus pass, which made getting around easy. we highly recommend this quiet and charming hotel.
