For a quick breakfast option, there is a bakery located in the alley right outside the hotel, making it convenient for those on the go. The rooms are clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the staff is friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout the stay.

The lighting in the evening could be improved, as it is a bit dim.

Hotel is conveniently located near the train station and metro. Starbucks, McDonald's, and other cafes are located right under the hotel. Staff is kind and helpful. Rooms are renovated and the bed is very comfortable. Free unlimited tram tickets and a cell phone with wifi are provided. Hotel is close to attractions such as Lausanne Cathedral and Lake Geneva.

Arriving at Hotel Continental after a long, tiring car ride, we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who instantly lifted our spirits. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a balcony that offered a beautiful view of the lake. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the nearby Pain Quotidien, and the central location made it easy for us to explore the city. Despite a few minor issues, like the small elevators and the need for an adapter for the electric plugs, our overall experience at Continental was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great value with spacious, upgraded rooms and even provided travel tickets. Quiet rooms with fantastic beds.

The location of the hotel was great, it was super easy to get to the main attractions and restaurants in town. the hotel offered a practical amenity of a mobile phone in the room, which was really convenient for making free calls and navigating around the city. the breakfast spread was really good, with plenty of options to choose from.

The gym didn't open early enough on the weekends, which was a bit of a letdown. the room and amenities could use an upgrade for a bit more luxury.

We recently stayed at a hotel near the main train station in Lausanne, and it was a great experience. the staff at Continental Hotel were incredibly friendly and spoke English very well. the rooms were modern and comfortable, with a nice view of the lake from the 5th floor. We also appreciated the free public transportation ticket provided by the hotel, which saved us from having to walk up and down the hilly streets. Checking out was also a breeze, thanks to the helpful assistance from the staff. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

I stayed at Continental Hotel for a short city tour and the staff was amazing - helpful and friendly. They gave us maps and free public transport cards, which was really useful. The pillows were soft and when we asked for more, they brought them to our room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was fantastic. The windows were thick, so even though there was construction nearby, we couldn't hear a thing. Plus, it's conveniently located near restaurants and the metro and train station.
