The location of Hotel-Restaurant Stechelberg Bed & Breakfast was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the stunning view of the mountains through my bedroom window was a dream come true. The breakfast spread exceeded my expectations, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The coffee was also exceptional. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, away from the tourist crowds, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The hiking trails nearby offered endless opportunities to explore the outstanding natural beauty of the surroundings. The room, although not very big, was comfortable and clean, providing a cozy environment. Additionally, the hotel offered a baggage check service, which was very convenient.

There were a few minor drawbacks during my stay. The room did not have two separate beds as requested, but the staff improvised by providing separate mattresses, although it wasn't ideal.

We loved the amazing views and peaceful atmosphere from the balcony. The hotel is located at the end of the road in Lauterbrunnen valley, making it conveniently close to the bus stop and cable car up to Gimmelwald. The breakfast spread exceeded our expectations, and the staff's local hospitality was greatly appreciated.

Gorgeous location with views of a waterfall and mountains from the balcony. Friendly staff, arranged small requests like having a kettle in the room. Basic but good enough breakfast included. Shared toilets and bath with 3 other rooms but hardly ever saw anyone else. Hidden gem, would definitely stay here again!

Marvelous wooden structure, wonderful surroundings, deep sleep with the smell of wood, clean room, convenient bus station, close to Schilthorn cable car.

Accommodation was a bit basic, with thin mattresses and a slight smell of drains in the room. Some rooms had shared bathrooms, which may not be ideal for everyone.

I had a great experience staying at this cozy bed & breakfast. the location was perfect, situated at the beginning of several picturesque hiking trails surrounded by beautiful mountains and waterfalls. It was easy to access from the nearby town of Lauterbrunnen via a convenient bus ride. the staff, although initially seeming grumpy, turned out to be genuinely friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the warm welcome and excellent service from the young woman during breakfast. the single room I stayed in was comfortable, with a nice bed, and the shared bathroom and toilets were always kept clean. the highlight was definitely the breathtaking scenery and the delicious local game specialties served in the restaurant. the atmosphere in the evening was wonderful, with a local vibe and hardly any tourists, which made it feel more authentic. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel.
