Arriving at the hotel was a bit confusing as there was no check-in desk, but the staff in the restaurant guided me through the process while I enjoyed a delicious meal. Eventually, I received my key and found my room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated in the separate new building. The bed was comfortable and the bath with claw feet was a luxurious touch. I also appreciated being able to use the sauna at the adjacent partner hotel. The historic charm of the hotel with its old wood beams and cozy dining spaces added to the overall experience. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection to choose from. I had a wonderful weekend getaway in this unique and beautiful old chalet.

There were a few drawbacks to note. The bathrooms were outdated with poor lighting and shower facilities.

The view was stunning and the staff were accommodating with our special requests. We also enjoyed the experience of having a welcome beverage upon arrival, which was a nice touch. the location was convenient, close to hiking trails.

The room was noisy with thin walls and creaky floors. We could hear people in the corridor and in nearby rooms.
