our romantic weekend in lugano was made even better by our stay at san carlo. the perfect central location allowed us to easily explore the city and enjoy the beautiful lake. the staff, especially sara, were incredibly helpful and made our stay memorable.

Great location, next to Coop supermarket, luxury shopping belt, cruise dock nearby. Helpful and kind staff, English-speaking. Walking distance from funicular station. 10/10.

The location of San Carlo is excellent, close to the lake, shops, and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We would stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.

The location of the hotel is incredible - just steps away from the main square, the bus stop, and the picturesque Lake Lugano. We could easily walk to any attraction we wanted to visit.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of the city. It was very convenient to explore the area and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Another positive aspect was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always willing to assist and provide recommendations. the hotel had a delicious breakfast spread that I really enjoyed.

There was no air conditioning in the room, which was quite uncomfortable during my Christmas stay. Although there was a ceiling fan, it was not enough to cool down the room.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at San Carlo in Lugano. the hotel is located in the best part of the city and is easily accessible. the room was spacious, spotless, and had all the amenities I would expect at a 4-star hotel. the staff were extremely cheerful and friendly, creating a wonderful atmosphere. San Carlo is one of the best-priced hotels in Lugano and I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at San Carlo! the hotel is perfectly located by the lake and in the old city. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always serving us with smiles. Our room was very clean and comfortable. the wifi was good and the breakfast, although basic, was substantial. We loved the chicken ham, it was the nicest we've had in any hotel. the property is also conveniently close to malls, eateries, and the boat station, all within walking distance.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the train station and right by the beautiful lake. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They even provided lactose free milk for my breakfast, which I really appreciated.

The only small downside was the outdated ceiling fan in the room, which could be replaced with a more modern system.
