We had an amazing stay at Tannenhof in the heart of the village. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From allowing us to use the hotel phone for international calls to providing a delicious sandwich breakfast on our early departure, they truly went the extra mile. the central location was perfect, with easy access to both the Gornergrat Bahn and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondolas. the free WiFi and tasty breakfast were also great perks. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This hotel is in a superb location, close to everything in Zermatt. It is just a 5-minute walk to the train station and the main center of the town. The communal lounge area near the reception is very comfortable, perfect for relaxing and socializing. The rooms are clean and the bathroom facilities are well-maintained. The staff is friendly and always happy to help. The breakfast offers a great variety with fresh options like muesli and fruit salad.

The hotel does not offer a casino or karaoke facilities.

Additionally, it is conveniently situated near a bus stop that takes you directly to the pistes for skiing. The hotel itself is nestled in a quiet area, providing a peaceful retreat in Zermatt. The rooms, though simple with shared bathrooms, offer a cozy atmosphere and some even have a balcony with lovely mountain views. One of the highlights of staying here is the delicious breakfast, which includes bottomless cups of coffee and a personal touch.

During my recent stay at Schallers Tannenhof, I had the pleasure of experiencing the most welcoming and friendly staff. The woman who greeted us at the hotel was truly exceptional, making us feel right at home. The location of the hotel was also superb, allowing us to easily explore the area on foot. Although the room was slightly outdated, it was impeccably clean and provided great value for money. And let's not forget about the breakfast! The homemade muesli, variety of fruits, and delicious cheese made it a meal to remember. I highly recommend Schallers Tannenhof for a memorable stay.

While my stay at Schallers Tannenhof was delightful, it would have been nice if there had been a hairdryer available in the room. Additionally, it was a bit inconvenient to have only one shower for the entire hotel.

The room was comfortable and had a weak wifi signal, but we could easily switch to the stronger mymatterhorn wifi. a great experience and would definitely stay again.

My easter stay was amazing! I loved the complimentary chocolate bunnies left on our pillows, a sweet surprise! the location was perfect, right in the heart of town and within walking distance to all local attractions. the breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide range of options to choose from.
