The room at Schutzen Steffisburg was absolutely lovely, with its spacious layout and impeccable cleanliness. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bottles of water, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and snacks in the lobby. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The shower was a standout feature, providing a truly refreshing and invigorating experience. We also appreciated the quiet and clean street where the hotel was situated, allowing for peaceful evenings. Additionally, the short drive to Lake Thun made it easy for us to explore the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and we particularly enjoyed the 24-hour availability of coffee and hot water. The modern and clean aesthetic of the hotel was also a plus, creating a pleasant atmosphere for our stay. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of air conditioning and the room being a bit on the hot side, we found these issues to be easily manageable with the provided fan. Moreover, the hotel's location in an industrial area could be a downside for some, but the serene garden space provided a relaxing spot to unwind. we had a delightful experience at Schutzen Steffisburg and would highly recommend it.

Recently renovated U-shaped building with green inner space, playground, and lights. Easy self-check-in with hygiene measures. Convenient nearby location for exploring Thun. Friendly receptionists Natalie and Livia provide excellent service, upgrading rooms and assisting with currency exchange. Complimentary water, coffee, and sweets add a nice touch.

Spent my Easter trip at this cozy hotel and I really liked the clean and fresh rooms, as well as the modern and stylish design. Location was key, with easy access to nearby attractions and a lovely inner space with gardens and play areas. Plus, the breakfast was tasty and the staff extremely welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel lacked some service options, and there were limited dining options nearby. the self-check-in process was a bit confusing and there wasn't anyone available to offer information or guidance until check-out.

the setting was absolutely stunning, and I loved the peaceful atmosphere. the number 3 bus service was excellent, running every 10 minutes throughout the day. It only took around 10 minutes to reach the town or the train station, and the bus stop was conveniently located right outside the hotel. This was the perfect choice for me as I didn't want to stay in the busy city center. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. the rooms were comfortable, and I especially appreciated the air conditioning after spending long days hiking in the sun. the hotel also offered complimentary coffee and bottled water, which was a lovely gesture.
