A hidden gem in old Zurich

The staff truly set this hotel apart, treating us like family from check-in to check-out. Each morning, I was greeted by the delicious aroma of freshly baked pastries at breakfast, complemented by a wide variety of options. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from historic sites and vibrant shops, making exploring incredibly easy.

However, navigation within the hotel felt a bit like a puzzle—finding our room took more time than expected! Plus, while our room was lovely, the pillows were a tad on the firm side for my comfort. A couple of minor hiccups that didn’t overshadow the overall fantastic experience.

The Design Queen Room had a balcony and air conditioning, with a cozy seating area and a flat-screen TV. Breakfast was incredible with farm-fresh eggs and a nice variety. Staff was super attentive, providing free gym access and thoughtful touches like fruits in the room. Loved the vibe and location near shops!

Where it excels and where it fails

The staff was incredible! attentive and welcoming, providing excellent service at the restaurant and during check-in. The food was fantastic, making breakfast a highlight of my stay.

The layout was confusing! finding your way around could be a challenge, and the limited parking availability made it inconvenient at times.

Oh my gosh, like, this place was lit! The room had this crazy high-tech lighting and the marble bathroom? Total vibes! Plus, the staff was super cool and, like, totally helpful. Copped some farm-fresh eggs for breakfast that were bomb! Only bummer was finding our room felt like a scavenger hunt, lol.

Wow, the local cheese selection was simply incredible! Pairing that with a fresh breakfast and the amazing staff's attentiveness really elevated our stay. The spacious Design Queen Room was pure luxury, absolutely loved it!

We have stayed at this hotel before, but this time, our visit left us with mixed feelings. For breakfast, I ordered Eggs Benedict, and the first day was perfection. The second day? A single egg on a lone toast. For 40 francs, I expected consistency! Still, the rest of our experience was stellar.

Howay, this place was canny lush! The breakfast with eggs from their own farm and the dreamy comfy bed were nowt short of fantastic. Just a bit miffed the courtyard bar wasn’t open one day. Overall, a proper brilliant stay!
