I recently stayed at Ark Hotel in Taipei for a week. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, always greeting us with a big hello whenever we returned to the hotel. The room we had was spotless and worth the extra money for a window. The location in the Dong Men district was great, surrounded by local shops and eateries. Plus, it was just a short walk to the beautiful Da An Park. The hotel is conveniently located near the Dongmen MRT station, making it easy to explore the city. The abundant dining options and convenience stores nearby were a bonus. The hotel also provided excellent wifi and a refillable water station in the reception area, saving us money on buying bottled water.

We had a great stay at Ark Hotel - Dongmen. the staff was really helpful, and when we mentioned that our room had a damp, mouldy smell, they promptly arranged for us to switch rooms. the bed was comfortable and the location was excellent, with plenty of nearby options for breakfast within a 5-minute walk. the hotel itself seemed recently renovated, with modern and clean facilities. the staff were friendly, and we appreciated the availability of vegetarian breakfast options. the hotel's proximity to shopping and dining areas near Dongmen MRT station made it a convenient location for sightseeing.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Taipei. The location was perfect, just a minute away from the MRT station and a short walk to the famous Yong Kang Street and Da'an Forest Park. The hotel facilities were excellent, from the free coffee and local snacks available 24/7, to the self-serviced laundry and helpful reception staff who could assist with courier services, tours, and car rentals. The neatness of the room was exceptional, with daily cleaning upon request and fresh towels provided daily. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was friendly and available at all times. They spoke English well, making communication easy. The amenities in the room, such as the hot/cold water dispenser, communal washing machine, and good lighting, made our stay more comfortable. The location of the hotel in proximity to well-known eateries at Yong Kang Street was a huge bonus. it was a top-notch experience and we would definitely choose to stay here again if we visit this city.

The tour driver was distracted by his phone while driving, which posed a safety risk.
