This hotel is located in the center of a charming town, with many delightful shops around a charming square. It was convenient to have dedicated car parking in the center of this lovely Borders town. The rooms, as seen in the photos on the website, were clean and well-maintained, with up-to-date bathrooms and a nice shower cubicle. The staff provided a friendly atmosphere and the breakfast had a variety of options available.

The value for the money at Burt's Hotel was excellent, with a comfortable and clean room. The location was perfect, with a lovely garden area and easy access to the town. The staff went above and beyond, providing a special vegan menu and even offering a takeaway breakfast for our early hike.

The room was very small and had limited storage space, making it difficult to move around. the noise from the street outside could be heard even at night, which made it difficult to sleep.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the center of a lovely Borders town. The location was perfect, as it was just a short walk to the Abbey and surrounded by delightful shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms, although on the small side, were well-maintained with modern bathrooms, including a bath. Additionally, the breakfast offered a variety of options to suit different tastes.

All aspects of my stay were great, no improvements needed.

Our recent stay at Burt's was fantastic! The hotel was immaculately clean and the rooms were comfortable. The highlight was the delicious food, especially the roast beef dish at the wedding. The staff were friendly and efficient, making our experience even more enjoyable. The ample car parking was also a plus. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, which was also reasonably priced. The beautiful soft furnishings and comfortable beds added to the overall charm of the hotel. The staff, especially Ross, were friendly and polite, ensuring that I had a pleasant stay. The location was excellent, with easy and safe parking available. The WiFi coverage was good, and the hotel was very clean throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Burt's Hotel to others.

I recently stayed at Burt's Hotel for a walking holiday in the Borders. The beds were incredibly comfortable and my daughter and son-in-law had an enormous bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with perfectly poached eggs. The hotel itself is a beautiful old property, with a grand staircase and a charmingly decorated dining room. The staff were efficient and kept the rooms impeccably clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and lovely decor.
