As a business traveler, I really appreciated the convenient location of Database Duckstay. It was steps away from the Longshan Temple MTR station, making it easy for me to get around the city. The check-in process was quick and simple, and the receptionist even gave me a tour of the facilities. The hostel had plenty of bathrooms that were clean all the time, and the air conditioning kept the major areas cool. There was also a huge and comfortable lounge area downstairs, perfect for relaxing or working. The staff at Database Duckstay were fun, friendly, and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The hostel also provided lockers for keeping valuables secure and had a curtain for added privacy in the dorm rooms. I found Database Duckstay to be a great place to stay during my business trip.

Loved the bar with its impressive selection of beverages and quirky gifts. The lounge area was great for some competitive dart games. The front desk provided a very convenient luggage storage service. I enjoyed preparing my own meals in the shared kitchen.

Such a shame that I couldn't tell the staff apart from the guests, they were so unhelpful and disinterested.

Great location, close to metro stations and easy access to attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the area. the common area was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

There were visible signs of mold on the walls, and the overall hygiene could have been better. It would have been more convenient if the bathrooms were closer to the rooms, rather than having to walk through different areas of the hostel.

I recently stayed at a conveniently located hostel in Taipei for three nights. The staff was extremely helpful and efficient during check-in, and they quickly resolved any key card issues we had. The hostel is just a 3-minute walk from the nearby MRT station and is situated in a quiet area. The beds were very comfortable, and the room provided ample space for us. The facilities, including the showers and kitchen, were clean and well-maintained. Additionally, there is a 24-hour supermarket just a short 7-minute walk away, making it convenient for any last-minute needs. I would definitely stay at this hostel again if given the chance.

I recently stayed at Meeting Mates and it was perfect for my travel intentions. I only spent a few hours sleeping in the clean and comfortable room because I was busy exploring the food and shopping areas within walking distance. The spacious and cozy communal area in the basement was also a great spot to relax.

The location of this hostel is perfect, as it is right by the Longshan Temple and other popular attractions. The common room is spacious and the atmosphere created by the friendly and warm staff and travelers is amazing. Bathrooms are always clean and there is plenty of them. The AC and cool air in major areas provide a comfortable environment. The downstairs lounge area is huge and has cozy seating for hanging out. The cafe offers delicious snacks, Chinese porridge, and amazing lunches prepared by the staff. The key card system provides security and convenience, and the beds are comfortable and private. Additionally, it is close to the MRT and a night market.

Great security system, spacious common room, and clean showers. The lockers were big enough for my backpack and the design of the spaces was nice. The location was ideal, allowing me to walk around and experience the local life. I also appreciated the fact that I could stay in the common room before check-in.

I wish the reception had 24-hour hours as I arrived early and had to wait for them to open. The pillows were uncomfortable but easily solved with a rolled-up bedsheet or towel.

There are convenient amenities nearby, such as 7/11 and Starbucks. The hostel provides lockers for valuables and curtains for privacy. Guests can also enjoy a meal or cook on the ground floor. There is free drinking water, WiFi, and hot water available 24/7. The hostel has a relaxed atmosphere, allowing guests to come back at any time, perfect for those who enjoy the nightlife. highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Meeting Mates in Taipei for a few nights and it was a great experience. The location was perfect, close to the Ximen area, and I could easily walk to Ximen Ding with lots of interesting sights along the way. The hotel had a clean and stylish environment, with a big hall that was perfect for gatherings and events. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist who assisted me in finding buses to Yangmingshan park. The food options around the area were plentiful and the Ximen market at night was an amazing place to try delicious street food. Meeting Mates offered great value for money and was a good place to meet fellow travelers.

Noisy facilities and equipment.

Wow, they have a bar that offers coffee, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and gifts! The lounge area even has a dart machine and a paid coffee machine. The front desk provides luggage storage and car hire service upon request. Guests can cook their own meals in the shared kitchen. Awesome!

What a delight to find such a flawlessly perfect hostel, I couldn't possibly think of a single thing that I did not like. Well done!
