We had an amazing stay at a hotel in the center of Taroko Park. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby trails and hanging bridge. The room was comfortable and equipped with heated mountain spring water. We also enjoyed the abundance of books in the room. The cultural show put on by the staff was a highlight of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable mountain experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the mountains. The location was perfect, surrounded by stunning scenery and a quiet, natural environment. The room itself was lovely, with all the necessary amenities and even a nice selection of books. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, providing a pickup service upon arrival and even arranging a taxi for us from the train station. The meals, especially the bamboo rice and fish, were delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in terms of cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation, and the helpfulness of the staff.

The rooms were quite cold, as there was no heating provided, which made it uncomfortable at times. Another downside was the lack of English communication from the staff.

There were a few downsides to our experience at this hotel. the noise insulation in the cabins was poor, and we could hear everything happening in the neighboring cabins, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the beautiful location and natural wonder of Taroko National Park. The facilities were nice and staff was friendly and helpful, providing rides when needed. The views from the rooms were amazing and the food was great, with plenty of options for vegans like myself. The staff put on a nightly show with fantastic energy and dedication, allowing us to learn about the local aboriginal culture and history. We felt truly welcome and enjoyed the resort-like feel of the hotel.

The main dining area felt like a theme park, with buffet-style dinners and performances only in Chinese. the crowd of mainly Chinese guests and occasional bus groups made it overwhelming and disrupted the dining experience.

Taroko Village provided a great base for an early morning start to explore the Taroko Gorge when it's practically empty. The large room and somewhat large bathroom were comfortable and clean. The hotel compound offered interesting places to explore and experience. The staff was helpful and caring, even calling my room when dinner was ready and when the cultural show was about to start. Although the room could have been cleaner and there were a few communication issues, overall I would still recommend this hotel for its location in Taroko Gorge and friendly staff.
