Stayed at the fabulous Tembo Palace. Great location, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. the hotel itself is gorgeous, with interesting architectural details. the staff was really nice, polite, and helpful. They even went out of their way to find and return my child's lost shoe. the breakfast was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the spiced coffee. the hotel has a certain charm and flair, maybe due to its history. Had a fantastic lunch with delicious lobster at a reasonable price.

No 🍺 served, but not a big deal as there is a bar next door.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, with easy walking distance to all historical spots in the city and being right on the beach. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a nice pool and a clean and beautiful beach just steps away. We also appreciated that the hotel had transportation options readily available for island excursions. The staff, particularly Kassim in reception, provided excellent customer service and were very friendly. We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, which added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the breakfast was amazing with a variety of options to choose from, including delicious fresh fruits. All of these aspects made this hotel a great value for money.

Nothing to dislike.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with amenities like air conditioning and private bathrooms. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet and take advantage of facilities like a pool table and rooftop courtyard.

The water in the bathrooms is not suitable for use due to its high salt content.
