The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and the seafood specialties were exceptional. The spa and massage services were relaxing and therapeutic. The live piano music in the lobby added to the ambiance.

Excellent Breakfast and Comfortable Beds

During our recent stay at a hotel in Dar es Salaam, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast offerings. We enjoyed a variety of delicious items that we had never seen before in Europe, the Middle East, or Asia. The selection was impressive and the quality of the food was outstanding.

During my recent stay at Serena Hotel, I was blown away by the amazing customer service and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. One particular incident stood out to me - when our travel agent failed to meet us at the airport, the hotel receptionist immediately stepped in to help us. She arranged for a taxi to pick us up within minutes and even upgraded us to an executive room on the 7th floor as a gesture of goodwill. It really made us feel valued as guests.

Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as the outdated bathrooms and the presence of carpet in the rooms , these were overshadowed by the overall exceptional experience I had at Serena Hotel.

I recently stayed at Serena Hotel for a business trip, and my stay was fantastic. The decor was beautiful and I especially enjoyed the live piano music in the lobby. The hotel has an old world charm that adds a unique touch. Despite the age of the building, the staff has done a great job maintaining it. The room was spacious, albeit a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was perfect for both adults and kids, with a good depth and size. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and patient, especially with our conference needs. And the breakfast buffet was delicious!

The location of the hotel in the business district provided easy access to the airport and it was near almost everything around the city. The staff, including the concierge Raphael, were friendly and provided excellent service. The in-house tailor at the hotel's gift shop was a unique and convenient feature.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. the pool and gym facilities were also really nice, providing a great way to relax and stay active during my holiday. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel was quite good, with a variety of options to choose from. It was a great way to start the day and fuel up for exploring the city.

There were a few aspects of my stay that I did not enjoy. the room design felt outdated and the carpets had a strange smell.

From the moment I stepped into this hotel, I was greeted by warm, friendly staff. the luxurious and exclusive amenities exceeded my expectations. the Spa and wellness centre offered an excellent range of treatments, from full, body massages to beauty treatments. the outdoor swimming pool was a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun, complete with barbeque grills for delicious poolside snacks. the entertainment was top, notch, and the bar/lounge area was perfect for unwinding with a drink. the room advantages were impressive, with a private terrace and garden area. the in, room breakfast was delicious and convenient, and the restaurant offered an outstanding buffet breakfast with a wide range of options.

The only small issue I encountered was during dinner, where the special diet menu options were limited. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs, and the food was still delicious.

Got two free drinks, close to the beach, beautiful view from the room balcony.

Staff, extremely slow service, dirty rooms and pool area, no privacy, no security, and no shade. this hotel ruined our whole city break experience.
