We had the most amazing stay at this hidden gem. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beautiful beach where we could swim and explore the sea life. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, with stunning views of the ocean. The service was exceptional, with the owners going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, with the freshest fish and a variety of options. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

While everything was perfect for us, some people may prefer a hotel with more crowds and loud music.

Colin's cooking skills, especially with soups and fish, were truly impressive. The lodge itself is located in a peaceful area, away from the tourist crowds, with breathtaking views of the ocean. The beach and pool in front of the lodge allowed us to relax and enjoy the tranquility. One of the highlights of our stay was walking on the ocean's bottom during low tide, an absolutely unique experience. Colin and Lesley were attentive, helpful, and always made sure our needs were met. The rooms were clean and bright, offering a fantastic view of the ocean. All in all, our stay at the lodge was unforgettable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and welcoming experience. During my Thanksgiving stay, I enjoyed the breathtaking view of the sea and the comfortable and spacious rooms with warm and clean showers. the hotel's location made it easy to walk to the sandbank during low tide. the delicious breakfast was the best part with home-cooked pancakes and eggs that tasted amazing. the staff was welcoming and always assisted with anything we needed.

The slow and spotty Wi-Fi, which made it difficult to stay in touch with family and friends back home. the high humidity in the rooms was uncomfortable and made our clothes damp.

Organized and affordable trips to spice tour, prison island, Stone Town, and swimming with sea turtles. Well-behaved and trained dogs on the premises. Trusted taxi service provided by Colin for transportation needs.
